As (Senior) Big Data Engineer, you design and optimize data processing algorithms on a talented, cross-functional team. You are familiar with the Apache open-source suite of technologies and want to contribute to the advancement of data engineering.

• You make data useful. You build program code in Java or similar languages, test and deploy to various environments, design and optimize data processing algorithms for clients

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in the development of software using Java or a comparable language
• Experience with data ingestion, analysis, integration, and design of big data applications using Apache open-source technologies, such as Hadoop, Spark, or Flink. Experience with Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes also good
• Solid computer science fundamentals (algorithms, data structures, and programming skills in distributed systems) and work experience in agile environments
• Professional communications skills in English
