System Engineer - Hadoop (m/f/*)

Job description


Our Engineering community is growing, and we’re now looking for a System Engineer to join our team supporting our Nepal office.

As System Engineer, you will be responsible to run and maintain our Hadoop system, contribute to the project by increasing efficiency in process execution for our partner in Japan. You will bring experience and a collaborative attitude to tackle challenging projects with your team.

Job requirements

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Contribute to transition of new processes in a structured manner
  • Collaborate with UT teams in Europe and Nepal, as well as partnering with the tech department of our client
  • Actively stay up to date with technological knowledge & adapt to change
  • Working cross-functionally with different teams
  • Focusing on providing a Best-in-Class customer experience at every opportunity


WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • At least 3 years of experience working with Hadoop and Ansible, experience in the development of software using Java is a plus
  • An independent mindset dedicated to moving goals forward
  • Experience working in an agile, fast-paced environment and the ability to adapt to new projects
  • Strong process driven mindset
  • Ability to adopt and adapt quickly to innovative technology and systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
